The Secrets Of Mystic Falls - Justlena - Episode 25

The Secrets Of Mystic Falls - Justlena - Episode 25
Justin's POV: We stood there for some minutes. Together. Her head resting on my shoulder and mine on hers. Back pressed against the wall, holding hands, looking at my parents and waiting for them to wake up. It seemed like ages, when in reality it was just 50 minutes. Finally they woke up. Mom first, then a second later dad. They both shot their eyes open and gasped for air. Me and Selena both went by their side. I could tell they were in shock. "What happened?" mom asked, looking around. "Um.." I looked at Selena. "You explain." "Okay." She nodded. "There were 2 vampires here, they stabbed a knife in your stomach, you both lost a lot of blood. I had to give you my blood... which transferred you into vampires." "What?" dad yelled angrily. "It was my request dad." I said. "Why would you want that?" he asked me. "Because I didn't want to loose you too." I said. It was silent for a while. "If you want to complete the transition, you have to drink blood." Selena said, showing th! em the blood bag. "If you don't want to, you'll die by tomorrow." Mom and dad exchanged looks. I knew they weren't sure what to do. Mom took the blood bag from Selena and opened it. "Don't do it." Dad said. "I'm sorry, my son needs me." Mom said and began drinking the blood. She drank and drank, like she couldn't get enough of it. She didn't pull away till the bag was empty. "Dad?" I looked at him. He shook his head and walked to his room. We all watched him while he did. Then my eyes met my moms, who ...

Bridging Worlds: Know India Know Yourself

Bridging Worlds: Know India Know Yourself
Indians have travelled to distant lands at various stages in history; first as travelers, then as indentured labourers, and finally, as skilled professionals settled in different parts of the world. The Indian diaspora today is spread out all over the world contributing to the global knowledge economy. The diasporic community often separated from their homeland by several generations knows little or nothing about their roots. In an effort to connect the community with their heritage and ancestry, the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs has started the 'Know India Program' (KIP). The film covers the program in its 5th year as young overseas Indians spend three weeks traveling to different places in the country, absorbing the Indian culture as more than tourists.

Celine Dion - Titanic (1997) - My Heart Will Go On
Celine Dion - Titanic (1997) - My Heart Will Go On Celine sings the "love theme" from the 1997 epic film "Titanic," winner of 11 Academy Awards. The RMS Titanic, the largest and most luxurious passenger ship of it's time, sank 100 year ago on 15 April 1912 after striking an iceberg in the North Atlantic on it's maiden voyage. Of its 2223 passengers over 1500 perished, making it one of the deadliest peacetime maritime disasters in history. Titanic is a 1997 American epic romantic disaster film directed, written, co-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron. A fictionalized account of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage. Cameron's inspiration for the film was predicated on his fascination with shipwrecks; he wanted to convey the emotional message of the tragedy, and felt that a love story interspersed with the human loss would be ess! ential to achieving this. Production on the film began in 1995, when Cameron shot footage of the actual Titanic wreck. The modern scenes were shot on board the Akademik Mstislav Keldysh, which Cameron had used as a base when filming the wreck. A reconstruction of the Titanic was built at Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, and scale models and computer-generated imagery were also used to recreate the sinking. The film was partially funded by Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox, and, at the time ...
